I decided to change up my make-up routine a few weeks ago and bought a tube ofMaybelline's BB Cream in Medium/Deep. I was in Target the Sunday after my break-up and I'd heard so many good things about it, and I figured that it couldn't be that different from the tinted moisturizer from Mary Kay that I'd been using. Here's the deal though, I was initially going to buy the 'Deep' shade instead of the 'Medium/Deep' shade. Check out the difference between the two.

deep Can you see the difference? I thought that I was 'deep', but my friends cleared that up for me immediately. Fast-forward to 2 days ago. I decided that it was time to actually put this bad boy to use. I didn't really wear much make-up last week, I didn't have much motivation to do anything other than make it through the work day after my break-upespecially after he cemented it on Wednesdayso Monday was a fresh start. I decided to just use the BB Cream instead of the tinted moisturizer I'd been using and it went on so smoothly! I was so tempted to not use powder, it dried matte and I was shocked! I did end up setting the BB Cream with my Maybelline Fit Me powder and I even used my Naked pallette. In fact, these are the products I use daily:

I love this pressed powder, I think it's perfect for everyday use and it usually lasts me a month. I actually found out about this after my cousin gave me a compact of it because it didn't match her skin tone. This was last Spring. I've been using this powder since.

I'd been lemming after this pallette for 8 months before I finally made the decision to buy it last December. I can honestly say that it was one of the best beauty purchases I've ever made. I love a good smokey eye and this pallette allows me to do just that. It's great for everyday wear, but combine the right shades and I'll have the most perfect smokey eye for a night out.

This is MAC's blush in 'Raizin'. This blush is a godsend for all women of color. I might look dark in this picture, but on me it's great for daily wear!
