Hiyo!!! I know this is kind of late in the day for me to be posting but I wanted to inform y'all of my weekend shenanigans.My cousin turned 25 on Thursday and since I missed her birthday dinner since I went to the Marc Broussard concert on Wednesday, I went to her shindig at Dave & Buster's. I wasn't too sure if I wanted in eat there so we stopped at Freebirds before we headed to her house. It wasn't until we almost there that I remembered that they sent me my half-birthday email, so I had a (basically) free meal!I was able to get my burrito bowl & sweet tea for a whopping $2.15!!We changed and headed to Dave & Buster's and sat at the bar for a bit because we had the slowest bartender ever! You'd swear the place was packed since it was taking him 10 minutes to bring a bottle of beer back to people, but it wasn't. Aside from our group there were maybe 5 other people at the bar, and there were 3 other bartenders! Anywho! This happened

After an hour of pool we headed into the game room and I told myself that I wasn't going to play anything I bought a game card and proceeded to win over 1000 points in tickets.

I was like a kid in a candy store when it came time to cash those suckers in and I went home with 4 Texas-sized shot glasses. I will definitely be breaking those in at the Princess Palace!

I didn't do much on Saturday and it was divine! I came to the realization that I need one day each weekend to decompress from the week and I don't mind if that's on a Saturday. I lounged around, caught up on a bit of my reading and spent a few hours on Pinterest.Sundays are my routine days. I didn't make it to church yesterday, but I did get up and cook myself breakfast (eggs & waffles with a latte), cooked dinner, redid my nails and straightened up. I thought about getting a head start on packing up my apartment, but decided against it. I made a date with my dad to go buy my mattress set this weekend and I'm looking forward to that. I promise I'm a Daddy's Girl to the core. Ladies & gents, this has been your weekend update!!
