This past weekend was eventfulon Saturday. I have a cousin who's getting married in two weeks and her bridal shower was this past Saturday. I got all dolled up and went with my step-mom and had a pretty good time. The bride's youngest sister (also my cousin, but I didn't want to keep saying cousin because I have a lot of them) was snapping pics but I haven't gotten any of those back so I'll share a few that I snapped on my phone.

I got all dolled up for the bridal shower and so did my step-mom! We took a pic together, but I don't have it yet. I'll share it with y'all when I get it emailed to me.

My baby sis was there (at 38 weeks pregnant!!) and acted like she didn't want to snap a pic with me. It took some coaxing but we made it happen. She's actually due on Ari's wedding day.After the shower my step-mom and I stopped by the hospital to check on her mom before heading home. I touched up my make-up and headed out to my second event of the day. My cousin Tavaria had a birthday earlier last week but we celebrated it Saturday night with dinner at the Grand Luxe Cafe. It was a nice dinner and I had a blast!

Sunday was a bit more mellow. I did some work around the house, looked up a few things onCoursera(more on this later) and watched the premiere of the new Librarians show on TNT and the first part of The Red Tent mini series on Lifetime. What about y'all? What did you get into this past weekend?
