I got to babysit my niece this past weekend and we had a blast! I haven't had her by herself in such a long time, so it was nice to have a girls weekend. Friday night was pretty low-key for us. We ordered pizza and watch 'Catching Fire' on Netflix and had a mini photo session. This girl loves taking pictures!

Saturday we tagged along with Megan and her niece to the Museum of Fine Arts and got to see some really nice pieces and even grabbed lunch at Cafe Express. Kenadie loves bread, yes plain bread, so of course she went for the grilled cheese and fries option on the kid's menu.

She didn't take a nap at all on Saturday so it didn't shock me that she was sleepy when we got home that evening. Kenie's the type of kid who will let you know when they're tired and when she is she wants to go to sleep right then. I asked her if she was ready to change into her PJ's and when she said yes I knew she was ready to lay down for the night. That girl slept 12 hours that night! She slept longer than I did, but she needed it. The next day we met up with her mom and brother for lunch at Barnaby's and my weekend baby was ready to go home.

Kenie's artwork I love having my niece and nephew, but it always solidifies my decision in not wanting to have children right now. I know I'm not ready to deal with that kind of responsibility 24/7. I also went and saw 'Dear White People' with some friends last night, but that deserves a separate post so be on the lookout for that later this week. What did y'all get into this weekend?
