This past Sunday we got an unofficial 'Verzuz' match between John P. Kee and Hezekiah Walker. Two gospel greats went head-to-head for two hours sharing some of their biggest hits and I loved it. Now, there were a few hiccups and the sound wasn't the best but I was able to get a decent praise and worship session in on Sunday afternoon.
They played a lot of my favorites, a lot of songs I grew up listening to on Saturday mornings cleaning and Sundays getting ready for church. My mom loved John P. Kee's music and you couldn't go to a church in the south without hearing Hezekiah. Since it wasn't an official 'Verzuz' battle Spotify didn't create an official playlist, but I found one that I wanted to share with y'all.
