This 'Tuneage Tuesday' is going to be a bit different than previous ones. Yes, I'm going to share a few Spotify tracks with y'all, but I also want to encourage you to either download these songs as well or consider donating to the Hurricane Maria relief efforts. Puerto Rico was hit really hard and they have a very long road to recovery so anything you can donate will help.
Lin Manuel Miranda, who we all know as the genius behind 'Hamilton' rounded up a bunch of his friends recorded a gorgeous track calledAlmost Like Prayingand the proceeds of that song go to benefit those who lost so much due to the hurricane. Beyonce also jumped on the remix of Mi Gente and the proceeds from that track will also go to those suffering after Hurricane Maria.
Please do your part and give back to these American citizens. We go through a lot in this country, but we're truly family. We will fight, bicker and argue but at the end of the day we stand up for each other help each other in times of need. Puerto Rico needs our help so let's give it to them.
