I heard part of one of his songs on a Tik Tok video a few weeks ago and was hooked! I downloaded the video on my phone, airdropped it to my computer, and played it on there so I could use the Shazam app on my phone. I know it sounds like unnecessary steps, but it was worth it.
It was Masego's Tadow and it's a whole bop.
I asked friends if they'd heard the song or even heard of the artist and to my surprise not only had they heard of them but one of them sent me a link to a Spotify playlist of his songs. I've been listening to it since and I wanted to share it with y'all today. The live instrumentation on his tracks reminds me of old-school favorites and his voice is velvety smooth.
