Yesterday I made a last minute decision and saw Jojo and Stanaj when they were in town for the 'Mad Love' tour.  I've been a fan of hers for years and I've become a recent fan of his so I didn't think twice when I saw her post on Instagram and saw how cheap the tickets were.  I texted on of my girls at 10AM and thirty minutes later we had tickets to the show that night.  It was at Warehouse Live, which is typically a SRO venue and that was fine.  I'd worn TOMS to work that day so I was fully prepared to stand on my feet all night just so I could enjoy that show.

The show was phenomenal.  It started on time (huge kudos for that) and even though it was an all ages show they had the bars open.  I was able to grab a drink before Stanaj's set and was so happy I finished it before he went on because I needed both of my hands to record and enjoy him thoroughly.  He mostly sang his songs, but snuck a cover of Ed Sheeran's Shape of U in the set list.  If you haven't heard this man's voice, do yourself a favor and take a listen to any one of his songs in the playlist I have below.  I have a feeling you won't be disappointed.

Then it was time for the headliner.  Ms. Jojo took the stage and commanded!  Weaving her way through old and new songs (she did quite a few from her 'Mad Love' album) she gave us vocals and hip shimmies her whole set.  If you follow me on Snapchat you probably saw a few of my snaps with me singing along (probably off-key…I blame the whiskey), but I was so happy I went.  She sang most of my favorites and I have to say that she sounds just as good if not better live than she does on a studio track.  That was my first time seeing her live, but I don't think it'll be my last.

She finally got out of her terrible contract with Blackground a few years back and signed to Atlantic Records back in 2015, so her older stuff isn't on Spotify.  I'm going to share what songs I can in this playlist below, but do yourself a favor and check out her first few albums.
