I'm not sure if y'all saw my tweet on Friday, but if you didn't I mentioned that it was going to be a happy day for me because Kendrick Lamar dropped an unexpected mixtape/album and the new House of Cards season was available on Netflix!
Now I was at work so I couldn't drop everything I was doing and watch the latest episodes of House of Cards, but I could listen to Kendrick's new music and I must say that I was impressed. Then again, I'm a fan of his music and I knew he wouldn't disappoint his fans. I love that he's an authentic rapper and only speaks about what he knows and what he's experienced. His tone and flow are so unique and his music has a message. This new project was no different. Take a listen below and let me know what you think in my comments section or via email.
