I know, I know. I'd gotten really good with releasing a new podcast episode every week, but this week I won't be. I had such a busy week last week and last weekend, so instead I'll be throwing it back a bit with today's album.
For those of you who don't know, I'm a pretty big Drake fan and I've been one since he was on Degrassi. Like messed up hairline, dancing in a thriller jacket Degrassi. Before the wheelchair, before Ashley, back when he was still crushing on Hazel. These were the days when folks were downloading music on Limewire, Kazaa, and Bearshare. Back when people were exchanging BBM info to message because texting still wasn't as popular. Are y'all back there with me? Good. This was prime Heartbreak Drake, and he was dropping music left and right and doing all types of crooning.
Well he gave us a bit of a present the weekend before OVO Fest this year and released 'Care Package'. Y'all, so many of my favorite Drizzy tracks are on this album and I've definitely had it on repeat since its release. I'm so happy that I don't have to worry about doing a workaround just to have Trust Issues, Dreams Money Can Buy and How Bout Now on my phone.
