I feel like my 90's R&B playlists always get started after I lurk on my friend Megan's Spotify feed. This girl has the best taste in 90's R&B and lurking on her feed never fails to send me down the rabbit hole. I think she was listening to Someone to Love You by Ruff Endz, and after clicking on and listening to that and a few of the artists that were in the 'Related Artists' tab (Case, Jodeci, Silk, Next, Jesse Powell, Dru Hill, etc) I figured I'd might as well make a playlist.
I tried to keep it as 90's as possible, but I think I snuck a few early 00's crooners in there. These are the tracks that are perfect to sing-along to (or lip sync if you're at work like I was) and will instantly give you that nostalgic feeling. They don't make R&B music like this anymore, but it needs to come back. Take a listen below and let me know your favorite songs or let me know if I'm missing some great ones!
Sidenote: I cannot stand Tyrese as an actor and I'm not a fan of his social media antics, but that man can sang!! That's the only reason why he's on this list.
