I'm not sure if I've mentioned this on here before but I was the biggest band nerd in high school.
Scratch that. I'm still the biggest band nerd!
I was riding in the car with Chuck on Sunday after brunch and had the urge to play him a few of the songs we marched to in high school and I was immediately taken back to simpler times. It was then that I knew that I had to share some of my favorites on here today.
I've been playing the flute for about 12 years and marched 6 of those years. I was also in jazz band for about 3 of those years and I loved every minute of it. I made a quick playlist on Spotify (if y'all don't have this then you shouldit's way better than Pandora) and I'm gonna post it below. Most of these are jazz tunes, but the last three are the inspirations behind my favorite marching shows. I was even able to find OU's marching band recording of Channel One Suite.
