Ah! Where has this week gone? I can't believe that it's already Thursday. I just have a few random things to sharewell I think it's a few. I'm so happy that Kroger offers 10% off store brand items to senior citizens. I saved like $30 on Sunday by using my granny's number. And got the fuel points!! I felt like I bonded with my stepmom as we combed through Kroger's wine aisle looking for my cupcake moscato.

One of my favorite wines.

I wore my braids in a ponytail today and have gotten quite a few compliments. These are the same braids I've been rocking for a few weeks now, I just usually wear them up in a top knot. Maybe I'll wear them in a ponytail more often.

I can't believe I'll be 25 in 2 weeks. Ah! Where has the time gone? I can still remember my 21st birthday in 2009 in Tyler. Wow

Countdown to Toronto! I can't wait to get there and see everyone next Saturday.

I need to go get my brows done and get a pedicure before I head out. If this year is anything like last year I'll be wearing sandals to the show and not flats. I'll probably also end up regretting that decision that night once the sun goes down. That breeze coming off the water is cold!!

I think I'm going to take a while anddate myself as Whitney so eloquently put it. Please check out that post today if you haven't already.

I cooked three times this week!! I ventured out and made shrimp, sausage, okra and corn in tomato sauce on Sunday and I got good reviews on it from Meg & Ash. Next time I'll use tomato paste to thicken it up, thanks Meg for the recommendation. On Monday I pan seared some tilapia and steamed broccoli and on Tuesday I baked some chicken breast and cooked brown gravy and rice. I added green beans to the meal when I took the leftovers for lunch on Wednesday. Last night I didn't feel like cooking so I just had a bowl of cereal, but as a result of that I have to buy my lunch today. Ugh!

Is it bad that sometimes I just want to stay in on weekends? I know that I should at least go sit out by the pool and even my tan, but with the rain and overcast we've been having these past few weekends I preferred to stay inside with the A/C on and curled up in bed or on my couch.

Speaking of A/C I'm so happy that I live by myself. I can set the thermostat on whatever I want to set it on because I pay the bill and no one can say anything about it. And thanks to Reliant & their average billing I can keep my apartment at a cool 67-69 degrees at night on the weekends and on 75 degrees when I'm at work and I only have to pay $58 a month!!
