Gavin DeGraw is coming to town!!! Y'all don't know how excited I am about this. He'll be here on June 18th, yes I know that's a Monday but I don't even care. I will trudge through Tuesday just to see this man.
On a much more sour note, while on the train on the way to work this morning I overheard two guys discussing court mandated urinary analysis tests. I assumed that they were my age (they honestly looked old enough), but when I heard one ask the other if he still attended a local high school (I'm not going to say that high school's name) my jaw dropped. I just shook my head and sent up a silent prayer. What are our youth coming to?
Why do I have so many sets of sticky notes at my desk? I swear I have like 6 in various colors and sizes. Wow. I know that I used to use them to jot down notes for random things, but this is becoming excessive. I might have to consolidate.
I don't know if I mentioned this on here last week, I know I mentioned it onTwitter, but I ordered the cutest pair of red pants for under $6!!! I actually paid more for shipping than I did the pants themselves. Anywho! They came in the mail yesterday and I have them on today. They are so cute!! I'm going to have to go get them altered a bit in the waist, but I don't mind. These are going to be great for the summer.
My daddy sent me the sweetest text this morning. He's usually leaving the house when I'm waking up and when he came back and told me good morning he asked how I felt and I told him crap. Now it didn't help that I sounded like a guy this morning, my voice was not cooperating at all. Well when I got to the train station I was feeling better, I think it was the outdoor air, and he sent me this: Are you feeling a lil better ? A concerned parent wants to know. Lol. I have no clue why he added the Lol at the end though, he can be silly like that sometimes.
$6 Fandango movie tickets!!! I'm not sure if y'all use Amazon Local or what, but they had that deal today and I scooped up two. I'm definitely going to use one to go seeSnow White & the Huntsmanand I'm not sure what I'll use the other one for yet. That deal was too good to pass up.
Speaking of Amazon, their WhisperNet service for Kindles is great! I use it whenever I find a book at work and want to have it on my Kindle instantly. You can't beat the price or the speedy delivery.
