I saw that quote made by an average Joe Blow in a magazine I read the other day and it kind of struck me as odd. I'm not sure if I was slightly offended by it or what, but it definitely ruffled my feathers a bit. I am a fan of top knots, especially on the days when it seems like my curly tresses aren't doing what I want them to do. I'll spray a bit of my leave-in conditioner and use some ofOlive Oil Hair Puddingfor some extra moisture and pull it up in a top knot. Now the position of the top knot does vary, sometimes it's up at the absolute top of my head and other times it's slightly further back. I don't want to be one of those people who are in denial about being a certain waythat happened when I saw this video:
I've definitely found myself saying about 90% of the things said in that video on a regular basisbut that's neither here nor there. Lol! Anywho!! I don't think I'm high maintenance, but when I told my (female) cousin about the quote and she laughed. This heifer had the nerve enough to tell me that I'm a bit high maintenance. It's not my fault that I like make-up, doing my hair and all things girly. That doesn't make me high maintenance, does it?
