Jaz Daigle - A Nashville Lifestyle Blog

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I'm sure most of y'all are with your loved ones eating dinner, or waiting for the final touches to be put on the dishes. I just wanted to drop in and share a few things I'm grateful for this year. It's a little tradition we have in my family, it used to be done during prayer but then that got long so we just go around the dinner table now.

First up, I had my second annual Friendsgiving last weekend and didn't snap any pictures (I'm such a bad blogger). It was a great turnout and the food was even better! I'm thankful for my loved ones who showed up to celebrate with me.

I'm thankful:

for my amazing family who's unconditionally supportive of me and my decisions, even if they don't understand or agree with them.

for my friends who are more like family to me. I'm so blessed to have this awesome group of people in my life.

that I get to wake up with a smile on my face knowing I get to go to working doing something I love, and that my hard work doesn't go unnoticed

for my little nuggets and that I get to watch them grow like weeds!

for this season of single-ness. I get to focus on myself and really figure out what I want in life and a mate. I know this isn't something people are typically thankful for, but I've really grown as a person over this past two years and I know that part of it is due to me being single.

for the hashtags #thanksgivingwithblackfamilies and #thanksgivingclapback. If you haven't searched those onTwitterandInstagramdo yourself a favor and do it!

What are you guys thankful for today? Comment below and let me know.
