This past weekend marked the one year mark for me at the Princess Palace. It was a year ago that I packed up my clothes, kitchen and bathroom belongings and started fresh.

It was 12 months ago that I decided to start fresh with furniture and life in a sense. It was a little over 365 days ago that I moved to an apartment so tucked away and quiet that many couldn't find it their first time coming over. Not only was my commute to work cut in half, but I was now closer to my parents and many friends. That first beautiful morning on my patio overlooking the pool area with a mug of coffee felt so right and since then I've spent many a weekend morning doing just that.

I did more swimming this past summer than I'd done in years and I even stepped out of my comfort zone and hosted shindigs and COOKED!! I've become so much more domestic and I kind of like it. I've hosted out-of-town friends, and even travelled more.

This year was a year of growth for me and when it came time to renew my lease it didn't even cross my mind not to. So here's to another 15 months of happiness and growth!
