So I've been in my new place for about a week and I'm still adjusting. It feels weird to say that I have my own place, that I don't have to check in with anyone, that I can walk around in my undies all day. It feels kind of nice. I still have to get used to grocery shopping and cooking for myself. My crockpot is definitely earning it's place on my counter, and it looks so cute sitting there!I still have boxes in the living room and haven't purchased a couch yet, but I'm slowly getting things settled in.I have a beautiful built-in bookcase that I plan on using for pictures, though Chuck says that I should just put my Kindle up on it since I have hundreds of books on that. I love that silly boy.Want to know the first thing I unpacked? My nail polish collection. I have them on one of the built-in shelves in my closetuntil I find a better place to store them. My restroom is the only room that's completely decorated, I still need to get my pictures up in the living room and I'm thinking about ordering something like this for above my bed:
