It’s so nice that I still get to do family traditions, and even better now that I’m on the other side of the celebrations. Watching the kids open their gifts, seeing the joy on their faces gives me joy. Eating a lunch/dinner together and watching ‘A Christmas Story’ for at least 3 hours (or watching it for 2 and having it watch us while we nap) is a tradition I don’t see ending anytime soon.
I'm about to head out to the country in a bit and spend time with my dad's side of the family and I'm already looking forward to the BBQ, drinks and the itis that follows them. I hope y’all are having a great Christmas and you’re spending the day with your loved ones like I am!
