Today's post is a follow up to Monday's post, the remainder of my vacation to the Bay Area. Not only did I get to hang out with Ruby, which I haven't done since last year, but she showed me some pretty neat things in her neck of the woods.
Speaking of woods, Ruby and I visiting Muir Woods on Saturday before our wine tour to see where *NSYNC filmed This I Promise Youor at least that's why I wanted to see it.
It was absolutely beautiful out there! We got there bright and early at 8:30am on Saturday morning and stayed for a bit before heading to the area of town where we were meeting our wine tour group.
Ruby chose the most amazing company for the winery tour, they also do brewery tours and our bus had a keg on it. Yes, that means beers between winery stops!
We finished up the vacation with a family cookout at Ruby's mom's house, a trip to a drive in theater to see 'Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation' and 'Southpaw'. I'd already see MI, but that was my first time seeing 'Southpaw'. It was so good! I also had In-N-Out for the first time.
I had so much fun on that vacation and I'm already looking forward to our girls' trip next year, we're thinking Vegas!
