Have you guys heard about the “I’m No Angel” campaign that Lane Bryant and Cacique have been running? I love it. Don’t get me wrong, I like Victoria’s Secret I shop there for my every day cotton panties, but for bras and nicer underwear I shop at Cacique. I’ve been blessed with a bountiful bosom and not every store carries my size. I actually wear a common bra size for plus size women, but I can’t always find bras in Victoria’s Secret and other department stores.

Now some have said that this campaign is a direct shot at Victoria’s Secret, since their key marketing tool is “VS Angels”, but I don’t this so. If anything I think it’s a way of saying that “I’m no (VS) angel, but I’m still sexy and have every right to be in these kinds of ads just like them”. I think this campaign is geared more towards society’s warped view of what is sexy. Well I applaud Lane Bryant and Cacique for this bold statement and I wanted to share the commercial with y’all in case you haven’t seen it.

What are your thoughts? Do any of y'all shop at Lane Bryant or Cacique? If so, do you feel like the women modeling in this campaign accurately represent you? There's been some push back since most of the models are pear or coke bottle shaped and not every woman is. What are your thoughts? Comment below and let me know!
