Who doesn't love a good happy hour, I know I do. Whether it's grabbing some drinks with my girls after work, going to Texas Roadhouse with Marc on a weekend or attending a book club meeting with co-workers, I like a good happy hour. I try to stick to my staples when I'm out drinking and I thought I'd share a few of those with y'all.
Margarita I prefer them over ice with salt on the rim. Most times I'll get the house margarita, but there are times I'll splurge and get something a bit more fancy if I'm at the right place.
Honey Jack & Ginger Ale This is absolutely delicious! I was introduced to Honey Jack last summer in Toronto and I like it best with Ginger Ale or Sprite. So light and refreshing.
Hard Cider I recently got into these thanks to Marc and I must say that I like them! I'd have to get with him on the details of the specific one he orders, I always tell the waitress or bartender to give me what he's ordered.
White Wine Spritzer I love these during the summer. I usually get them at book club meetings with co-workers.
Rum & Dr. Pepper This was my drink in undergrad and every now and then I like to go back and revisit those days. I prefer Malibu coconut rum and Dr. Pepper, but will settle for a good 'ol Rum & Coke when I'm out.
Beer I'm a Southern girl through and through and love a good Budweiser.
