I know I've said this before, but I wanted to make sure you guys are fully aware that I'm not a beauty blogger. In fact, I didn't even get into makeup until about 6 years ago! Since then I haven't changed up my routine too much. I have go-to products that I wear daily and I've even shared them with y'all, but I'm nowhere near a beauty guru. Keep that in mind when I tell y'all about my new HG lip products.
I'd seen these floating around on Instagram last year and even considered getting a few when they first went on sale, but they sold out so quickly! I thinkColour Pop's websitecrashed for a bit too, these matte lipsticks were in high demand. They ended up restocking, but I put off buying the lipsticks until recently. I've had a list of colors since last year and when I checked out the site again recently I knew which ones I wanted to get. I've seen numerous Youtube and Instagram clips of different girls trying out the lipstick and I love that Colour Pop even has swatches of a lot of the colors on various skin tones on their site.
I ended up narrowing my list of 9 down to 5 and even added a lip liner. Oh, did I mention that theirUltra Matte Lipsticksare only $6 each and their lip liners are only $5 each?! Yeah, super cheap! They were offering a free shipping promo for orders $35+ and I had a coupon code for $5 off my first order so I had all of that shipped to me for $30!! I couldn't believe my eyes at that total; I've spent more on 2 lipsticks from MAC and I was able to get 5 fromColour Pop!

Drive-in: a magenta
Lychee: a warm violet
Highball: a hot pink-red
Beeper: a nude, mid-tone taupe
Tulle: a nude, mauve burgundy
Brink: a nude warm dusty taupe pencil to pair with 'Beeper'

I couldn't wait to try them out when I received them and I've rocked a different one each day since. I've gotten compliments on every color and I can definitely see myself buying more.
