One of the great things about online dating (for me at least) is that I get a chance to be swept off my feet with someone's words. Long messages turn into emails, which then become text messages. There's a process and levels to this thing. There is a downside to this though, I see any and all bad grammar habits a suitor may have.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not perfect and I know that no one is. I understand the occasional slip up and minor autocorrect blips, but when a person constantly uses the wrong their/there/they're or your/you're it grinds my gears. Does this make me the grammar police? I hope now. One of the guys I'm talking to now has consistently used the wrong their/there/they're and I'm not sure how I should approach it. I asked Marc and Kam and they advised me against calling the guy. Marc even suggested that we have the 'pet peeves' talk and when I'm asked I tell him that one of mine is bad grammar and pray he picks up on the hint. I thought that was a good suggestion, and I might still do it but I might have let something slip yesterday.

He didn't catch on.

Ugh! What do I do in this situation you guys? I find this guy attractive and the conversation is flowing between us, it's just those few grammatical errors. Do I give him a pass or call him out on it?
