It's been a while since I've done one of these, but after what happened Saturday night I feel like it was time for this to make a comeback. I posted this statement on Saturday night after a particularly interesting conversation, and got some feedback that was just as interesting.

I'm currently single and happy, but that doesn't mean that I don't like spending time with guys. I'm casually seeing a few guys, and when I was talking to one last night and told him that I wouldn't be able to go out with him on the night he requested this week because I had previous plans he got upset and asked jokingly if I was seeing someone else that night. Me, being the honest person I am, told him yes, actually I am. Then shit hit the fan. He went all up in arms and tried to slut-shame me, saying that I was hoeing around, etc.

Well I shut that down immediately, informing him that we hadn't had the talk about exclusivity (nor did I want to date him exclusively), so I was free to see whoever I wanted. AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WAS DOING! He was also free to do that as well. I gave him my standard speech about how sexist society is when it comes to dating/sex and informed him that I longer wanted to see him, casually or otherwise. I wished him nothing but success in life and when we hung up I blocked his number (thank God I only gave him my Google Voice number) and spammed his email address. I don't know if he follows me on any social media platform, but if he does he'll definitely see this.

I'll save him some embarrassment and not call him out by name on here, but know that you were wrong for what you said sir. Another one bites the dust.
