Things have been pretty quiet around these parts, I've been extremely busy this week. I did want to drop in and at least update y'all with the goings on in my life. I spent Valentine's Day with my niece and nephew. I volunteered to babysit the kiddos for the long weekend and had them with me from last Thursday evening to Sunday. Whew! This weekend only cemented my notion that I'm not ready to be a parent yet. Between the pickiness when it came to foods, my nephew staying up until 12:30am on Saturday because he didn't feel like falling asleep (even though we had to go to church the next morning) and my niece just being the princess she is my weekend was packed and tiring. But I would do it all again.just not any time soon. Lol! I finally bought wine glasses! I'd been using breakfast glasses, mugs and tumblers (don't judge me), but when I saw a nice set in Home Goods for a great price I snatched them right up!

I went and saw one of my favorite artists in concert on Wednesday night with my friend Megan and really enjoyed myself! Meg and I go see him every time he plays in town and he put on an amazing show as usual. He even brought his dad on stage! I didn't take many pictures this time (I was too busy singing along with him), but I did snap a few.

What is air?!?! I could not believe it when I saw this on my phone yesterday. I ran in my boss' office and told her and then got her listening to his music. Let's just say that she's a fan now. The polishes I ordered ages ago when Zoya did their promotion finally came this week! I think I forgot to change my shipping address and they got mailed to an old address of mine. I didn't catch that until they were already shipped and by then there was really nothing I could do about it since no one lives in that house now. I was fully prepared to count that $12 investment as a loss until I was emailed by one of the customer service reps who told me that they'd mail them to my office for an additional $4. Of course I said yes and those beauties arrived on Monday!

OVO Fest tickets went on sale today! I can't believe it's already that time! I can't wait to go and see Drake, Outkast and I look forward to enjoying this annual trip with my friends!
