: Describe the best day of your life to date.
Hmmso I actually pondered over this prompt for two days. I don't know if this is technically the best day of my life, but it definitely sticks out in my mind as one of the most memorable and it puts a smile on my face whenever I think about it.
My nephew Ke'Mahr, who we call by his nickname Moke, is very special to me. I wouldn't say that I have favorites in my nieces and nephews, but since he was my first I think he holds a special place in my heart. He's 3 going on 25 and I love his little behind! Anywho! I carried my nephew (as I do most babies) on my hip, like this boy was attached to me all the time, he went just about everywhere with me. I took him to see Eclipse and Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 as well as the final two Harry Potters and I could've sworn he understood the plot lines just as much as everyone else in the room the way he was looking at that screen. He even smiled and said Nanie! (what he calls me) when I took him to see the final Harry Potter because he remembered the other one.

But that doesn't begin to touch the day that melts my heart every time I think about it.
Like I said, I'm a very attentive aunt. I rock both my nieces and nephews to sleep when I'm with them, and each of them has their own song that I sing to him. Moke's is Live Forever by Matt Morris. This is a video of us singing it:
I'm no Matt Morris, so excuse my vocals, but as you can hear he now sings it with me. The first day he did this was one of the best days in my life. I definitely cried and he looked at me like what's wrong? and wiped my face. That boy right there. He holds my heart in the palm of his hand, I promise! I don't have any kind of hope with my own kids if I'm this sappy now, huh?
